Multi Speciality Medical & Legal Aid Camp – 2nd October 2024

Help and Heal Foundation Trust organised a full-fledged Legal Camp wherein very senior lawyers including Supreme Court AOR gave free legal advise to Senior Citizens, Widows & others on various matters related personal, property & matrimonial etc.

We also had arranged a Geriatric multi specialty medical camp in the same Complex. Doctors gave free medical consultancy to senior citizens. We also received a group of ladies from skill development unit who took advantages of the medical camp. Large rush was observed in ophthalmology counter for eye check up. Similar rush was seen with Pain Management Specialist. The camp was very useful for many who needed these services.

Motivational Talk Session – 31st August 2024

Our trust has adopted Raisina Bengali School, Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi-110019. Our first session was held on 31 Aug 2024. The session started with an introductory talk & assured support to all the students. He suggested monitor of the class to ascertain from the class & list down subjects & topics on which they were keen to learn from the experts.

The talk designed by Shyam Banerji and Ruma Dasgupta, and presented by Shyam Banerji focused on ‘Knowing One’s Own Potential’. An extremely receptive student audience was encouraged to probe deeper into what each student’s strength and sources of weakness are. It focused on developing right thinking and through that, making the right choices in life. The talk received a very participative and positive response.

Dr Deepika Chatterjee, a member of our trust in charge project Vidyanjali, gave many useful suggestions to the students.

Multi Speciality Free Medical Camp – 11th August 2024

Team Help and Heal Foundation Trust organised a free multi specialty medical camp on 11 Aug 2024 from 09:00 to 13:00 hrs. Our Trust is now registered by Min of Education, Govt of India, under project Vidyanjali, which is why we were permitted to conduct this program.

Experienced Doctors of various specialty from reputed hospitals gave their valuable time & screened 320 primary standard students from age 05 years to 12 years. Students were screened by EYE specialists, Skin specialists, Pulmonologist, Pediatricians, General physicians, and Dental surgeons.

Approximately 70 parents, teachers & and support staff also availed of these services. We made provisions for pathalogical tests, ECG, etc. We also arranged OPD of Cadiologist, Orthopedician & Homeopathic doctor.

At the end of the program, Trust had made arrangements of sumptuous healthy food for students, volunteers, doctors, para medical staff, teachers & support staff. We were overwhelmed since four advisors of our trust, including two octogenarian, graced the occasion with their presence.

We also had august presence of Dr Manisha, Ms Aparna Sharma from Education Dept of NCT & Mrs Chandra Sen, Manger Raisina Bengali School Management Committee.

Chaitra Mela (Medical Camp & Cultural Program) – 30th & 31st March 2024

Help and Heal Foundation Trust held its Second Mega Event, Chaitra Mela on 30th and 31st March, 2024 at the premises of Purbosree Mahila Samity, C.R. Park, New Delhi.

Multi Speciality Medical Camp was the main event in Chaitra Mela. Doctors from well known hospitals of Delhi/NCR joined and offered free consultancies.

A fully equipped Mammography unit was placed at the venue where screening was done for 44 females. Blood donation van was also organised on 31st where people donated blood. Lot of elderly and needy persons were greatly benefitted and got the opportunities to consult with the doctors.

Some cultural programmes were also organised where children from EWS and differently abled children were participated. Elderly residents also performed a drama.

Stalls for handicrafts and healthy foods were also organised. Foods and snacks were served to the needy people and to the children of EWS and differently abled children. Two day programme created a cheerful and healthy environment all over CR Park.

We thank all the doctors, their assistants, hospitals, Synergy Eye Centre, IBS, Diagnostic Labs, local administration, Executive committee members of Purbosree Mahila Samity, Delhi Police, MCD Councillor etc. who joined and supported us to make the event a grand success.

Award in Healthcare – 27th January 2024

I feel enthralled to inform all members of our Trust that I was nominated for an award for my contributions in the field of Healthcare by Mediways Foundation, a renowned NGO.

On 27th January 2024, I received the award on behalf of our Trust at the Award Ceremony held at Hotel Le Meridian, New Delhi, of which I am sharing a few photographs.

I had the privilege to highlight the achievements of our Trust to the audience as well as various Media Channels and Doordarshan.

Our First Anniversary – 18th January 2024

A milestone was achieved as Help and Heal Foundation Trust completed one year of serving the needy and the underprivileged. To commemorate this landmark, the Foundation organised Narayan Seva at Kali Mandir Complex, Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi on 18th January 2024.

On this momentous occasion, Food & Warm Clothes were distributed to over 700 needy people, which were collected by members of the Foundation from residents of Chittaranjan Park & adjoining areas.

Office bearers of various philanthropic organisations as well as many like-minded and concerned residents were invited to be part of this event.

Health Check-up Camp – 15th October 2023

Help and Heal Foundation Trust organised a Free Multi Speciality Medical Camp & Legal Aid Camp on 15th Oct 2023 at Ram Krishna Park, D-Block, Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi.

The Camp was inaugurated by Renowned Pulmonologist, Prof (Dr) G.C. Khilnani, HOD, Dept of Pulmonology, PSRI Hospital, New Delhi.

We arranged speciality doctors to conduct Routine Body Check-ups, as well as for Dental, Internal Medicine, Orthopaedics, Pulmonology, Gynaecology, and Physiotherapy. A lot of residents of the area took advantage of the Free Multi Speciality Medical Camp.

Legal advice was also provided by law experts at the Free Legal Aid Camp, which was highly appreciated by the beneficiaries. The camp was organised in collaboration with Sarbojanin Puja Samiti (Regd) of D-Block, Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi.

Health Check-up Camp – 6th August 2023

Help and Heal Foundation Trust organised a Speciality Health Check-up Camp for about 275 students of MCD Junior School, B-Block, Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi. Almost all students were from Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and were deprived of good health check-up.

We arranged speciality doctors for General health Check-ups, Blood and Sugar Tests, Dental, Skin and Eye checks etc.

Nutritious food was offered to all the students and parents who came with their children to check their health-related issues. We also provided light snacks to the health service staff.

We received fullest support and cooperation from Delhi Government/MCD officials to organise this camp at the school. We specially thank the MCD officials, the principal, all school teachers and staff who joined the camp to help us throughout the day.

Chaitra Mela (Cultural Program) – 1st & 2nd April 2023

In the Chaitra Mela, we also organised some cultural programs to encourage Specially Abled Children, senior residents and local upcoming talents, and provided them a platform to demonstrate their talents.

We provided light refreshments to the participants and also to all the persons who took active part in the event.

An atmosphere of joy, especially for the Super Senior Residents and Specially Abled Children, was created through the events of the Cultural Program.

Chaitra Mela (Medical Camp) – 1st & 2nd April 2023

Help and Heal Foundation Trust organised its first major event “Chaitra Mela” within 2 months of its formation. The main objectives of “Chaitra Mela” was to organise a mega speciality medical camp aimed to provide free consultation and health checks for the distressed and senior residents of Chittaranjan Park and surrounding areas.

We are deeply obliged for the support and help from Max and PSRI Hospitals. With the cooperation of Max Hospital, a fully equipped medical van was provided for mammography tests where tests were done for 32 females.

Well-known doctors from reputed hospitals of Delhi attended the health camp and offered their free consultations and advice to the residents. Pick-up arrangement for super senior residents were made by the foundation.

For the first time senior and distressed residents experienced such elaborate arrangements for health check-up from which they immensely benefitted. This medical camp has evoked huge support and response from the residents who are pushing us to arrange similar health check-up camps on a regular basis.
