President
Born in Chandan Nagar, did Graduation from Delhi University, PGDM in Human Resource and Management Degree holder, Air Commodore Swapan Samaddar VSM (Retd) served Indian Air Force for 35 years. In his illustrious career he held various key staff and field appointments. For his outstanding performance, professionalism and distinguished service of high order, he was awarded commendation by the Chief of the Air Staff & Vishisht Seva Medal by Hon’ble President of India.
Post retirement, worked with DDA for six years as Senior Advisor Medical Management to design and implement a robust medical scheme. Thereafter joined medical insurance company and presently is wellness advisor of couple of healthcare centres. He is an active member of many welfare organizations and is on the board/advisors of several health care providers of Delhi / NCR.

Sri Sujoy Ghosh,
Member-in-charge – Medical & Health Care
Born and brought up in Delhi, Management Graduate from Delhi University, and an active sports person. Held Senior Executive positions in Multinational companies and had a very successful career. He was recognised as an outstanding performer with several achievements in his name. He travelled extensively to various countries.
Post retirement, he kept himself involved in various social welfare activities. In addition to one of the longest serving Secretaries of D Block RWA and Sarbojanin Puja Samity, he is also Member of most of the well-known Organisations and NGOs in Chittaranjan Park and Delhi, viz. Kali Mandir Society, Bangiya Samaj, Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Memorial Society, Durga Puja Samity, New Delhi Kali Bari and Charitable Institutions.

Smt. Maitreyee Ray,
Member-in-charge – Finance
Born in Delhi and did her studies from southern part of India. Her late father and husband served in the Air Force, both having illustrious careers.
After working with a Nationalised Bank for 37 years and post retirement, she associated herself with various socio-cultural organisations and NGOs. She has been holding the post of Treasurer for several years of Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Memorial Society, a very well-known organisation in Chittaranjan Park.

Sri Anjanesh Bhattacharyya,
Member-in-charge – Senior Citizens, EWS & Women Empowerment
Brought up in Delhi and studied in Delhi University. He worked as senior officer in various government organisations, including Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India and finally retired from Govt. of West Bengal undertaking organisation. He was recognised as one of the most capable and confident officers to resolve any delicate and complicated issue. These qualities had brought him in the limelight of all the organisations, he worked.
He was involved in various social and cultural activities from his young age. He is one of the key persons, who planned and implemented several welfare and cultural projects in Chittaranjan Park. He was instrumental and a key member to establish EBDP organisation, set up Market structures in Chittaranjan Park. He has been Executive Committee Member for several years in almost all Socio-Cultural Organisations in Chittaranjan Park and Delhi, viz. Bengal Association, EBDP, Kali Mandir Society, Bangiya Samaj, Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Memorial Society, New Delhi Kali Bari and Nikhil Banga Sahitya Sammelan.

Sri Prodip K. Ganguly,
Member-in-charge – Cultural & Events
Born and grown up in Delhi. Studied B.Sc (Hons), M.Sc and LLB from Delhi University. Apart from brilliant academic career, he also achieved great success in his professional career. He retired in Senior Management Cadre from a leading Nationalised Bank in 2018, after working in various administrative capacities with diverse portfolios.
He is a well-known name in the field of sports, particularly football. He represented United Academy School’s football team, Hansraj College (DU) in inter-college tournament (with winning tags), Delhi University Football Team and Delhi State Football team in the National Championship for Santosh Trophy, National Tournaments including Mini Asiad’82 in New Delhi. He played in almost all leading football tournaments viz. Durand Cup, DCM Trophy, Rovers Cup, IFA Shield and many others. He was instrumental in formation of Oriental Bank’s Football Team and represented in various capacities viz. Captain, Coach and Mentor. He was awarded Best Player in various local and National tournaments. Another feather in his cap as a qualified “National Referee” and supervised most of the leading football tournaments. He was the local manager of Sri Lankan Football Team for 9th Asian Youth Championship.
He is a person of multiple talents. He is a great state performer and a member of a pioneer Jatra movement, “Sreemoti Opera”. He was the winner of a medal and prize in Shankar’s International Spot Painting Competition. He is presently the Secretary of Bengal Association, New Delhi, Elected Executive Committee Member of Kali Mandir Society, Bangiya Samaj and EPDB Association of Chittaranjan Park. He is also the member of Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Memorial Society.

Wg Cdr Anup Kumar Chaudhury (Retd),
Member-in-charge – Administration & Legal
Born in Lucknow, did Engineering, joined the Indian Air Force. After serving 20 years of illustrious professional career as Engineering Officer in Indian Air Force he retired as Wing Commander and settled in Delhi. He then decided to dedicate his services towards welfare of needy and EWS people of the society. His dedication to serve the mankind and to take the Trust to a greater height reflects Indian Air Force’s motto “Touch the Sky with Glory”.
All these years his contribution towards various welfare activities for all Socio-Cultural and Welfare Organisations of Chittaranjan Park has motivated young generation of the society. He is the Member of Kali Mandir Society, Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Memorial Society, Bangiya Samaj and EBDP Association of Chittaranjan Park. He is also the Life Member of Defence Service Offier’s Institute, Air Force Sports Complex of Delhi and United Sports Club of Mumbai.

Born in Kalimpong, brought up and studied in Darjeeling. His specialisation in Export Management brought a good success in his professional career. He worked in senior executive positions in Birla Group for 38 years, and 2 years as Head of India Operations for a UK based Multinational Company. He headed global exports of several companies and presently working as President (Exports) for one of the largest Textile Groups in India. He has travelled extensively to several countries.
In addition to his professional career, he is also involved in social welfare activities. He is a Member of few Socio-cultural Organisations in Chittaranjan Park and Delhi, viz. Kali Mandir Society, Bangiya Samaj, Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Memorial Society, EBDP and Bengal Association.

Born and studied in Delhi, he is a very-well known doctor and presently attached with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital where he is Senior Consultant in the Critical Care Medicine. More than a doctor of great reputation, he is a philanthropist.
He is one of the key members who set up a medical unit at Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Memorial Society, Chittaranjan Park where people specially persons from EWS avail consultations from specialist doctors at a very low cost. He is associated with several organisations which are involved in social services.
