Message from the President

It gives me immense pleasure to inform that few like-minded residents of Chittaranjan Park decided to devote their services selflessly for welfare of the senior and distressed residents of Chittaranjan Park and adjoining areas. All such residents jointly decided to form a Trust in the name of “HELP AND HEAL FOUNDATION TRUST”.

We started a new journey to serve the mankind and thus we call our Trust “Help and Heal”.

The Trust was then registered with the Registrar of Societies, Govt. of Delhi, Niti Aayog and obtained 12A and 80G registrations for getting tax exemptions for the trust as well as the donors.

During the Covid pandemic we witnessed horrific times for humanity, resulting in helpless and distressed situation of the bereaved family members, unprecedented in our lifetimes. We therefore decided to help and assist all sections of our society, with main objective of standing beside distressed and senior residents.

Along with other objectives to help the society at large, following will be our four main welfare activities:

  • To help and stand beside the senior and distressed persons at their difficult times
  • To help and arrange medical facilities to senior, distressed and the people of EWS
  • To help and assist senior citizens for consultation & legal advice for their personal issues
  • To arrange a decent funeral to the persons left alone

All members of the Trust decided to hold the first welfare activities by organising a “FREE MEDICAL CAMP” on 1st and 2nd April, 2023 – the starting point of achieving the above objectives.

On 1st April 2023, Free Medical Camp was organised jointly with Purbosree Mahila Samity at their premises, which turned out to be one of the most successful Free Medical Camps ever organised by any organisation in Chittaranjan Park.

Specialist doctors with necessary testing equipment from reputed Hospitals of Delhi and NCR attended the Camp and offered their Free Consultation and Advice to several needy, distressed and elderly residents of Chittaranjan Park and adjoining areas. Max Hospital provided a Mammography Unit at the site where several female residents got their Mammography done.

In this event, we also organised a Free Legal Aid Camp in association with District Legal Services Authority (South East), in which Advocates consulted and advised several elderly residents. They all appreciated the efforts undertaken by the Trust to help such persons.

On 2nd April, 2023, a Cultural Programme and a Food Festival was organised for entertainment of all, particularly elderly residents. One of the unique features of the cultural programme was the performances by differently abled children and students, which were enjoyed and praised by the attendees.

I wish to convey my sincere thanks to all the Members of the Trust who devoted their time, efforts and contributed immensely to successfully organise the Free Medical Camp, within just three months of formation of the Trust.

On behalf of our Trust, I convey our gratitude to all the doctors who came and offered their free services, despite their extremely busy schedule.

We also put on record our grateful thanks to the Advisors and Patrons for their encouragements, contributions, guidance and help to achieve our objectives and made this Programme a great success.

Our Trust shall continue to conduct such Specialised Free Medical Camps and Cultural Programme at regular intervals, with the next one planned for school children.

Moreover, the trust shall strive to build an ecosystem by enrolling volunteers, onboarding donors, and organising events for creating awareness and providing free services to help the needy, elderly, and distressed members of our society.

With this, I appeal to all like-minded citizens to support “HELP AND HEAL FOUNDATION TRUST” by putting in their time and efforts in organising events, requesting experts to come on board, as well as getting funds for the trust to achieve its objective of helping and healing people from all sections of our society.

Thank you all, once again.
